Excellent surgeon and a very nice man.
Dr Wilson has been very respectful he did my vp shunt surgery . I believe he did a great job but I have had a lot of unresolved post op issues . I would recommend him as a surgeon to others but his office staff specifically his Medical assistant Paul is super unprofessional. I called to try to see if I could do a tele health appointment due to transportation issues. Scheduling stated that wouldn’t be possible being it would technically be my first post op in office . I’m thankful I got connected with Dr. Wilson. Brain surgery sucks but I actually wasn’t scared because I could tell Dr. Wilson knew what he was doing—obviously, but on another level. And then his communication is great, how he explained what I was facing, my options, and his professional opinion. I went with what he suggested and it turned out about as good as it could have. He informed me that surgery wasn’t necessary for me. Dr. Wilson also told me about another possible method that might help with pain. I was impressed that he told me he went over my images the night before. He took out time to review everything. He was kind and compassionate, very detail oriented, and thorough. Seems like a great doctor.
