Dr. Van Pelt operated on my neck and surgical screws and a rod and did fusion. I had headaches terrible headaches after surgery that continued after normal recovery time. On one of the visits going in, as always he took an x-ray. He threw the paper down and said look at how good that is. Your pain can’t be anything I did. I couldn’t believe he said that. Dr. Van Pelt is not a Psychologist or Social Worker, but if you want your spine repaired he just might be your guy. He’s done surgery on me twice, once on my neck and later on my lower back!

All that doctor van pelt did was look at the CDs that we took to him. They were done in 2018. Just as every other dr. that my son has seen in the past four years, since he doesn't have insurance van pelt told him he didn't see anything he could operate on. He didn't offer to try to find out why my son has had chronic pain for seven years and unable to work for the last four years. He has no life! He can't do anything that he used to enjoy! Dr. Van Pelt and all the doctors a POA have been great. I have a long running back issue. After many doctors, The Doctors at POA were the first to diagnose my problem. Explain my problem an set a course of action in a timely manner. After years of back injection Dr. Van Pelt preformed a Decompression Laminectomy with great results. When in the office for a check up Dr. Van Pelt always listens to any of my concerns.

What a knowledgeable Orthopedic Nero-Surgeon. When no one could diagnose my symptoms of loss of feelings in my legs and arms, this Physician did. He did a complete MRI of my Spine and found the problem. I highly recommend this wonderful healer and Doctor.

My experience with Dr. VanPelt was excellent. At my consultation Dr. VanPelt listened to me, he was informative of the procedure to be done and his demeanor made me comfortable and confident so I was not worried about the surgery. His staff and nurse were very kind as well. I will continue to recommend him to all my friends and family who have issues with their spine. The day of my procedure I awoke in recovery with no pain and have healed in just a few weeks.

Dr. Van Pelt did a laminectomy Jan. 2, 2019 at St. Francis downtown. I had back problems for many years and finally tried nerve blocks which only worked one of three times so after consulting Dr. Van Pelt I decided to do the laminectomy. Now I wish I had done this years ago as my recovery was less than two weeks and I rate the surgery 100% successful and so thankful for answered prayers and the knowledge and skill of an awesome surgeon.

I had been suffering for months from low back pain with pain radiating down my hip into my calf with numbness in my foot. MRI showed L-4 L-5 herniation. I tried chiropractor, massage, and acupuncture with no relief. I was afraid to have back surgery. I saw Dr Van Pelt and had surgery June 26, 2018. It was the best thing I could have done.
