Had a routine colonoscopy. Dr. Brown did the procedure. I went into the recovery room and waited for Dr. Brown to go over results of colonoscopy. When I was being discharged I asked for Dr. Brown to go over results. I was told he left the hospital. Totally unprofessional. I have changed practices!
My wife scheduled an appointment to pursue diagnostic treatments for her gastrointestinal problems. She met with a nurse practitioner and an upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy were scheduled with Dr. Brown. The endoscopy was completed but due to anatomical conditions the colonoscopy was unable to be completed despite attempting it. Dr. Brown met with us briefly in recovery, explained the situation, and said a X-ray of the colon would be performed as an alternative. It was to be done within the coming week.
