Christine's was the very first restaurant I ever eat at upon arriving in Vancouver when I relocated here from Dallas back in January 1989. It was great then and even better now.
Absolutely love Christine's!! Great service, great food - and - a strong sense of community when you go there. Additionally, they offer 1/2 sizes on many of their orders, I wish more restaurants did that! If you haven't been yet - go! :-)
I had not eaten there and wanted to try their pecan cinnamon rolls. I went there this morning and had a pecan roll and a breakfast special. I could not eat it all, although I really tried, lol. Both the roll and the breakfast were excellent. I will definitely go again next time I am in Vancouver! (I live in Salem, Oregon.)

So, for two weeks in a row, we've eaten at Christine's. Last week we went for breakfast and this week for lunch. The service was wonderful, and the building (a renovated house), looks bright and cheery outside with a new paint job, and the inside is homey, cozy, and comfortable. The food was delicious! The homemade hash browns were the best--you can tell they're the real deal. The entrees were delicious, too. And the deserts: Wow!
