Dr Woods is the definition of an amazing doctor. She doesn't just want to throw medication at you. She cares and dives into what is wrong to help find the best solution for you. But she's even more than that, she also cares about financial situations and advises when to or not run tests. No waste of money on meaningless tests. I haven't ever had a doctor who cared more about what is truly happening with my symptoms than Dr Woods. My concussion care with Dr.Woods has been fantastic. Hands down. I also work in healthcare and I would not see anyone else for this. ****My kids played HS volleyball and football. GO COUGARS Lots of players getting concussions. I would not hesitate getting them in to see her after a sports injury.Her goal is fast efficient safe recovery, back to play as soon as possible. Dr. Woods is amazing. Recently diagnosed with a brain tumor and had not gotten much information or direction from another neurologist. She took her time to listen to our questions and educate us on the situation. Feeling much more hopeful after seeing her.
Dr. Woods brings her experience and education back to Alaska adding sports injuries as her focus. Alaska has needed her compassion, empathy, knowledge, and listening skills. We are in a path to healing which felt daunting before the exam and counsel of Dr. Woods. 10/10
