I had surgery yesterday at Mercy Ambulatory and Dr. Carstensen was awesome. She spent time with me before surgery and listened to my concerns about my obstructive sleep apnea and getting enough oxygen after surgery. She listed what she would be doing step by step and assured me that she would be with me during my entire surgery. I never felt sick afterward and I have had zero pain. She is awesome.
