Buyer Beware! Clearview Construction / Home Energy Solutions company sent a representative to my house to sell us on a paint-like product called Tex-Cote. They said they were working with The Gas Company, which was giving discounts on home upgrades. The salesman talked for 2.5 hours but refused to give me a price until the very end. The price? If I could give 0 stars I would but there is no option for that. Our experience started out great. My husband and I met this nice young man at the fair and he explained some great options to having central air and heat installed and we set up an appointment. I unfortunately missed their call to confirm the appointment but I did call back and left a voice mail confirming it. Clearview had Texcoted and Painted my home. This company went the extra mile...more than any other contractor I have worked with in the past. They completely replaced all the stucco on my home before they applied the Texcote materials. They put not one but three coats!!! Awesome job. The house looks like new! I would defiantly recommend them to anyone who wants to use them. In the near future I will have them replace my HVAC system.

I get tons of telemarketing calls from this company. I have asked several times to be removed. They are very rude.
We have just completed a process with Clearview that included 1400 square feet of insulation in our attic. We decided to have this done to our home after talking with the insulation manager who explained very thoroughly to us the process and material of the insulation and its advantages. These included keeping the home cool in the summer and warm in the winter with minimal airconditioning and heating usage. First they installed the unit incorrectly by leaving a big gap. All the cold air was coming out. Then they told me I needed and extra part, which of course I bought, but the problem persisted. Finally my husband got tired and looked at it himself. He closed off the gap, and the AC has been working fine ever since.
