Excellent. Never rushes. Explains in detail. Very thorough and knowledgeable
Dr. Dickson is an exceptional physician. He is empathetic, caring and very thorough. He takes his time explaining things properly and with detail. I would highly recommend Dr. Dickson for any foot or ankle condition I may have in the future.
Dickson is devoid of compassion, incredibly arrogant, and unwilling to listen. He is judgmental and personally insulting to the point of being borderline abusive. He acts like he is angry at YOU for not healing the way he expects you to heal. Unless you don't mind being blatantly disrespected, don't go to this one. It is not hard to imagine why he doesn't partner with other physicians.
Dr Dickson is my podiatrist and in the several years that I have been his patient he has been very gentle in removing my ingrown toenail. He also removed some bone spurs from my right foot and I had no complications (I am in my 70's). He is very professional, friendly and caring.
Ingrown surgery and foot surgeries are extremely painful to recover from, and this doctor will NOT, he absolutely REFUSES to prescribe any pain medication. He tells you to just take ibuprofen and Tylenol. My ingrown surgery was unsuccessful, and it actually came back and grew ingrown. After all I went through, it came back! Pathetic. I won't be going back to see this doctor and going through horrible, painful recovery without any pain medication again. I will go see someone else.
I had a toe injury and required Surgery. He said he had to break my toe and off set it with a screw. Everything went well so I thought. But then my foot started hurting. I went back to see him and he sent me back for x-rays. It turns out now I have the beginnings of a stress fracture on the same foot. so i am to wear the boot for another two weeks. I asked him for some pain medication and he said no. I do not use medication unless I have to. So i will not see him again. do not recommend.
