Overall the experience was very good. At times the staff would not assist a patient for upwards of an hour. I would see someone come in to shut off the call light so no one in the hall could tell how many people were actually waiting for help. The staff was friendly and there were no health problems.
I want to thank everyone at Christian Healthcare Center and Nursing Home at Southgate for the phenomenal care you gave my mom during her stay. I cannot express how much I appreciate all the kindness and care you all gave my mom. Each and every staff member has a heart of gold and treat the residents with dignity and respect. You are a 10 star facility and I cannot praise you enough. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. You are the best!!!!
After an unfortunate fall and surgery to repair a broken hip I spent twenty days at CHCC short term rehab. The quality of care was exceptional, the cutting edge equipment, and the skill of the therapists enabled me to achieve complete recovery. The warm Christian atmosphere contributed to the overall experience. It certainly deserves five stars.
When my father's health began to decline, we knew exactly where to go for him to get top quality care. Christian Health Care Center was there for us at three different stages of my father's dementia and then for the final three years of his life. Thorough, quality, compassionate care was provided throughout my his illness until his last day of life. This is a phenomenal resource to have in this area. They provided a safe and caring environment for my father and father-in-law. We have experienced great care at the Psychiatric Center at Ramapo Ridge, Southgate, Heritage Manor Nursing Home and also the short-term Rehab Center.
