Breakfast not very good – I've only tried the breakfast and was disappointed: scrambled eggs with feta makes it a Greek breakfast? Nevertheless, I've heard very mixed reviews.
awesome service & food!!!! – Service is the best when wait staff is treated with respect and patience...go to McDonalds for speedy food, go to the Greek Cusina if you want the Chef to prepare the best swordfish in Portland. The Chefs strive for perfection so the dining is slow and family style. We eat at this restaurant whenever we want good food and fun. Samir, Nate, Paul and Jeff-in the AM are all professionals. Serving the tired and hungry deserves respect...
service was amazing – we had reservations on a saturday night and it was so much fun. the food was good but the service was the best. our waitress jennifer made us laugh and made the whole time better. the food took a little while but that would be expected. we always had food to munch on while waiting and a great time with our waitress who kept us entertained every second.
Good food & fun – I love this place. I have been here several times and I think the food is delicious. The place gets pretty happening at night with belly dancing & plate tossing. Yummy desserts too! Great takeout for lunch if you're in a hurry.
Surprised! – Had eaten here a few times in the past and was not impressed. Thought it was overpriced & food wasn't that good. Just ate there again recently and was surprised--had the best beef kabob I've had in forever! Delicious! Huge portion--but, still a bit overpriced. Nice waiters. Don't order smoothies.
SHIFTY, SHAMEFUL BARTENDER – Watch out for that blonde hair woman bartender upstairs by the dance floor! We ordered 2 Crown Royal and Cokes...she made the first one and then she ran out of Crown. So she poured Jack Daniels and pretended it was Crown! We watched her do it and we called her on it--and she denied it! She got really angry and went into the back! Shifty and shameful...she gives bartenders a bad rep.
So FUN!! – Some friends got together for dinner on a Thursday night. Of course it was pretty laid back...but SO FUN!! We danced, broke plates, danced, drank and ate ourselves silly. We were apprehensive about dancing...there were only two other couples there at the time...but we were dragged out there and had a fabulous time!! Great music, fun atmosphere.
THIS PLACE ROCKS! – My friend was back visiting from NYC so we got about 15 friends and made reservations for a table upstairs. We all had a total blast!!! Dinner was fabulous(do the Zeus platter!),then there was plenty of crazy fun entertainment including live band w/ great singer, drinking games, group dancing directed by the owner AND a bit o' plate breakin. :) After that, the place turned into a dance club and we danced till about 2am! GO HERE to show someone a great time!!!!
It is what it is – I'm not one to say this should be the classic Greek dining place or the best ever, or try to compare it to that. What it is is a decent Greek place for a good lunch or dinner. The best Greek I've ever had- no. Not even close, but it is good. Not the kind of place I go out of my way to go to, but enjoy well enough when I do.
