Lived there for four years, moved away for 6 years and looking to move back waiting for our application to be approved !
Fantastic example of Brutalist (poured concrete) architecture in a 55+ community sponsored by HUD--so tenants pay only 1/3 of their income. This place is lovely, with 20-foot long balconies, some with harbor views, and very clean. The ONLY downside is Christ Church Lutheran hangs on to bullying/inept managers far too long. For example, 2021 they lost a beloved social worker, Pam Poulson, due to former bully manager disregarding all the HUD rules not to retaliate nor discriminate---this lady through her efforts had food stamp... read more
