This Doctor was rude mean and degrading when he examined me he man handled my legs causing me a lot of pain. When I discussed with him an Experimental drug he told me I would p ssy out within 5 days. He had 0 sympathy for me and made me feel like I had no reason to complain. over all do not use this doctor, he will basically tell you if you have Neurofibromatosis to deal with it.
I was treated by Dr. Helmstedter and his team over a year ago. I needed emergency surgery due to a fall that led to a broken femur. I initially when to the emergency room at Kaiser in Culver City. They didn’t believe I had a fracture until the X- ray showed a large tumor eating away at my bone. I was then transported to Baldwin Park. Dr.Helmstedter and his team from the beginning made sure I was aware of the long healing process. They are dedicated and care about managing life after surgery.
