My mother has a aortic aneurysm and (needed???), another surgery. We were told that the tvar unit was being especially made for her body. Unbeknownst to us the company rejected the part not once but twice.( We were never told.) Dr Kissell decided it wasn't important to mention this and proceed with the surgery and fabricated her own graft.
