wait time is forever. there are better alternatives.
I’m not happy with them, I took my grandson with some sort of infected rash they took a culture said call in a couple days for results, well it’s been 5 days, I made 4 calls today and was put off every time oh the dr has to tell you they will call you, they are only open from 4-10 and don’t return calls. Is he contagious? Is it serious? A nurse can’t tell me when dr is busy? WTH??
My 4 year-old (who is REALLY bad with any sort of medical/peds appointments) had a pretty severe finger laceration. We came in at the end of the night. Our care team (Dr. Quirk and Sara Tompkins RN) were amazing, and somehow sutured our daughter's wound without sedation. They spoke calmly to her throughout the procedure, and (even though she was screaming for most of it) this really helped her get through it. We were in and out in about 3 hours, which was amazing considering the widespread/high number of flu cases right now.... read more
We had such a positive experience at CHOP Urgent Care, the staff was very friendly and the nurses and doctor were very attentive and thorough!! I'd highly recommend!!
My 4 month old had a rash on her neck, head & arms that was spreading more ever day . I took her to her primary care 3 times and my dermatologist all kept prescribing her the same creams , ointments , and powders all of which were not working. I kept telling them it was getting worse . I finally heard about CHOP Urgent care and decided to get another opinion. I would like to say a big "Thank You!" to the doctor and staff at CHOP Urgent Care. Everyone from the security officer to the intake staff was kind and patient - no pun intended. The nurses were sweet to my little girl and very gentle. The doctor took the time to thoroughly review her chart to make an informed decision about how to proceed with her treatment. Friendly, but misdiagnosed a broken foot. No one available that was experienced enough to read X-ray. Left with "foot sprain" wrapped in ace bandage to get a call the next morning saying they see a break or fracture in foot. It's also a holiday today and she can't be seen by anyone. Not happy at all!
