Completely frustrated with CHOP Newtown, I called on Tuesday with my daughters symptoms, they said to wait another day to see if she gets any better. I waited and when I called back the next day the phone system wasn’t working, every time I selected 2 to make same day sick appt and 3 to talk to a nurse it would just send me back to the same recording to make a selection. I had a horrible experience yesterday. The office manager told me we didn’t have an appointment when we did. My daughter was supposed to have her one year well check. When we arrived I was told she didn’t have an appointment and there was nothing they could do for me. We have been seeing Dr. Urszula, who is wonderful, and my 3 year old son also saw her. I’ve been coming to this office for 18 years. It was great when my kids were small. They have moved 3 times. The old staff is wonderful. However the past couple of years the practice has not been the same. The newer ladies at the front desk are extremely rude. You can never get through when you call to make an appointment or speak to someone. It seems they over book cause the wait to be seen for any type of appointment is god awful. I’m so glad my kids are are older now and can be seen elsewhere.
