I went to The Chocolate Bar with my friends for my birthday. The waitress was super friendly and I ordered the chocolate covered strawberry martini which was superb. We all ordered chicken and waffles, when the entree came out we all smiled because the presentation was mouth watering. That was one of the best chicken and waffles meals that I have tasted. Great job!!! I’ll definitely be back!

It's a good thing we arrived early on 1/27/19 - we had tickets for a show at 7.00 pm and arrived at 4.30 - we didn't get out until 6.15 pm and we put our orders in ASAP (which took a while anyway). We were seated quickly enough but it was a table basically under stairs to the second floor which was a little less than desirable. I have been here many times but this afternoon (party of 6 at 4:30pm, 1/27/19) was awful! The service was so slow, food was awful - pecan chicken burned on one side, medium filet was very well done & crab cakes were flavorless. I do have photos of the food but since we sat down at 4:15, ordered all drinks, apps & dinner by 4:25 & did not get our entrees until we asked for them at 5:10pm, we could not wait for them to be redone. Laura was FANTASTIC! She not only made our drinks to perfection but she offered very good suggestions as to what drinks to try. We went before the Sabres game and walked on back after the game because the service was so good!
