There should definitely be a way that you can give them lower scores when reviewing companies. I’m very disappointed in the workers as well as this company. Very bad scheduling terrible they set appointments and cancel them without informing the client there appointment is canceled. They smile in your face and tell you they cant help you. The time before I was 10 minutes late because we are dealing with a kid with special needs and sometimes takes a little longer than we thought TO GET HIM ORGANIZED and it was difficult finding parking they turned me around FOR ONLY 10 MIN and told me sorry there is nothing they can do and I had to make another appointment. Update: Finally saw Dr. Blackard and was thoroughly impressed with her professionalism in not only talking with me, as the parent, but with my 5 year old as well. Once established, she was quick and very attentive with getting my son in as soon as possible to be evaluated and treated. We then saw Dr. Keener and she was absolutely wonderful in the diagnosis of my son and I can’t compliment her enough on her benevolence. Good luck getting into this office. They will just keep asking you for form and pervious evaluations. Instead of just seeing the child in person and evaluating them they want to just keep reading other people’s evaluations. You will be in an endless cycle with this place and get no help for your child. This is now my second time attempting to go through CHKD.

I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Blackard yesterday. She was very helpful in diagnosing my 3 year old son. I enjoyed our conversation as she was very knowledgeable. Her bedside manner was warm and genuine. My son really liked Dr. Blackard and her colleague! The front desk was also very helpful and attentive. I’m not sure why this place has so many bad reviews! I will be coming here again. I am thankful for her service to children in this area.
