Dr Safajou has been my gyn for years. She is friendly, sweet actually and very proactive with my care. The only thing I don’t like is the huge wait at every visit. Otherwise I love her.

Although Dr Safajou truly seems like a great person, I didn’t feel that I was even remotely cared for. Really disappointed with this practice. Multiple times I’ve waited anywhere from 1.5-3 hours for my scheduled appointments to start, only to walk out and not be seen at all. No respect for the patients time. I was never told that I am anemic and was prescribed an iron supplement for my pregnancy- I found this information out through the portal & never even received said iron supplements, and the Dr never even addressed my a... read more

I was skeptical of the negative reviews here and saw Dr. Safajou anyway because I wanted to get started on fertility treatment and I only had to wait a few weeks to get an appointment with her. Now I understand why. I waited over an hour in the exam room for her to spend less than ten minutes with me, rushing through our appointment and not explaining anything. I have been Dr. Safajou's patient for a couple of years now. She is very accessible and professional, and takes her time to listen and answer my questions. She is a straight forward person and I appreciate that. Her practice is a gem, and I'm glad I found her.

Did not appreciate her bedside manner. I saw her soon after a very traumatic experience with my health and she made a very overstepping comment saying I would need a transplant which is no where near the case at all..... even if she was joking what Dr comments on such a thing that is nowhere near her scope of practice. On top of that waited forever to see her. Staff also seems scared of her.

The confidence, trust, and ease that Dr. Safajou brought to my wife and I is priceless. I’m not one to write reviews, good or bad but it must be known that if you plan to deliver a child and you want someone who was born to deliver babies, you want no one else but her. Yes, she might be a little straight forward and direct but trust me, that’s who you need to have when you are left to make life changing decisions. This was my first and last time seeing this doctor. If you are an overweight woman, DO Not go to her. She did nothing but fat shame me and blame me for the symptoms I was having. She is not competent and could not answer most of my questions. She was agitated and the visit was awful and tense. She made assumptions instead of asking me questions. She has zero bedside manner. Dr. Safajou is wonderful. You know she loves what she does and truly cares about her patients. She delivered my son last week, and made my delivery so special for me and my husband. I highly recommend her.

I am a new patient to this practice. The office is very nice with convenient parking and friendly staff. Dr. Safajou is a pleasant and energetic person. I had a difficult pregnancy before. She took time to listen and explained my options. She seems to be results oriented and straight forward. Not your regular doctors' visit!
