Went to Brookhaven, Mississippi for wedding back in 2022. I think it was was looking for something to eat. When I found this place s***, it remind me at home in Alabama if you're ever in the area, please go get you a fish dinner but everything was good you can put it on your bucket list if it's the same owners, check it out.
This friendly diner is serving great food at resonable prices. We found it while passing trough Brookhaven on our way home to Louisiana. Not far off interstate 55, stop in for something different from the regular chain fast food. Try some real food for a change. The place is a no frills diner but it is comfortable. I gave the atmosphere a 5 star because it was nice to see the community comaraderie here, lots of laughter coming from the kitchen.
By far the best catfish ever!
On the outside and in the bathrooms, definitely a hole-in-the-wall. However, the kitchen, eating area, and the bathrooms were clean. Hard to believe, but their catfish actually tasted like fresh caught fish. French fries were crispy. Food was well worth the price. In fact, food prices are a bargain.
