Last year I had back surgery on my L5/S1. The surgery went well and the disks fused together as hoped and I started hiking again. Last month I attempted to hike the Camino Santiago in Spain and unfortunately on two harder stages my back seized up really bad and I had to terminate my hike after 580km.
