I've given Deerfield Illinois Chipotle more chances than I can count, and somehow every visit is worse than the last. This location has been a complete disaster for a long time, and it's hard to understand how it continues to operate this way. The restaurant is consistently filthy, and the service is among the worst I've ever experienced. The portions are small. None of the staff will hand over the order, even if it is ready for pickup.
I don’t think I have ever been to a restaurant where the staff is basically hostile, providing the bare minimum in terms of both service and the food product. The people seem as if they hat working there and any ask at all gets a seemingly punitive “that will cost extra”. As example, I had to order xtra chicken because there were only 6 little pieces in the “regular version” of my burrito.
