I'm just disappointed; the heating isn't working. It was good that it was warm in September, but in October, the frost set in, and the heating still isn't working. We heat with radiators, and we still pay an additional electricity bill, although the rent is quite high... Last year, the same thing happened; we asked several times. Asking for a parking lot is always a big project, no one answers back, if they do you’ll be sent to someone else and at the end the answer was «we don’t know if we have anyavailable give us 2 weeks to check» yeah sure I’ve been calling for a month now.
The moving in was no problem. Except the property manager did not give me my parking lot space information. I called them more than twice and send them a email but I didn't hear anything from the manager. I can't believe that I did a payment and they're not following the contract to provide only a parking spot number that is very easy to send by a text or even email. Went to look at couple of the units in the chinook gardens buildings. The building was disgusting and overall out of shape. The rent was over priced and noticed in the parkade there was garbage all over the place. Used floss and kleenex near the entrance and McDonald's garbage bags scattered along near the entrances. Also noticed the up keep was not present, strong stench of. I FELT VERY disgusted. For the rent they are charging there's tons of new buildings in the area that are clean and well maintained. This is my second year living here and have enjoyed it here. The staff is friendly and quick to action on items needing attention. I live on the third floor and have a beautiful south-facing unit.
