Lived up to its reputation! – My 16 year old daughter opted for a trip to California (from NY) instead of a party. Spago was on her "Bucket List." After looking at the menu on line, I thought she would be disappointed. I was WRONG! I took her and two of her friends to dinner. They had NO problem choosing appetizers and dinner! Overpriced Confusing Presentation – If you want to be swept up into the world of over-glamorizing steak, then this place is for you. The room is cold and noisy. The view is of the entry and exit ramp for cars coming and going from the hotel. It's a scene, not relaxing nor is the food worth the price. Try Dan Tana's or the Grill. They always have had good steak and you know what you will get. Also try the chains like Arnie Mortons and Ruth's Chris, the original shrines to a piece of meat.
Great steak – Really enjoyed the flavor of the steak and it was cooked to perfection, would definitely send my friends there.
Never so tender – OMG my steak was so tender it melted in my mouth. Really love this place. It is pricey and has some attitude at the door but all was forgiven once I tasted the food. Will be back for sure.
Wolfgang is my food god. – Wolfgang Puck is my favorite chef! Spago is warm and friendly- never stuffy. The Food is wonderful, I keep getting the duck dishes when I go, they are just so amazing. The dishes are paired so nicely with unique sides. Also the walnut bread they pass out is yummy! The best part is Wolfgang coming around to every table to talk to you. Great food, great service! – Very nice, relaxed atmosphere. Food was a little pricey, but well worth it. Our server, Lisa, was exceptional nd on top of everything, from the menu to our wine need. She made our experience worth going back for!
Superb Steaks. Devine Service. – This is one of the best restaurants in Los Angeles. If you like steaks, ( and fish), want to see service at its best, and dont mind paying a lot for teh best this is the place for you.

Fortunately, these folks like to share tastes of their food, so I had an opportunity to try everything brought to the table. OK food, overpriced, PLASTIC WINE GLASSES - just go to P.F. Chang – I took a friend here about 2 weeks ago, and was underwhelmed to say the least. The food was good, but not worth the price. We had the pineapple glazed quail, which was excellent, and the salmon, which was dry and tasteless. The fried asparagus was just ok, as was the fried rice.
