Never Been Disappointed This restaurant is a favorite of my boyfriend's and we frequently visit. I have never had a complaint about the food or staff and you never have to wait to get in. The food is good and reasonably priced. Some of the best chinese I have had so far.
Great Food!! My husband and I have been going to China Road for years. The food is great and the staff is always eager to serve us. In fact, we go there so often they now know our names and our 'usual' order!! Just be sure that if you have a large order to make sure you are getting the correct change back. We had our rehearsal dinner for our wedding there and they didn't get us the correct change. We still have yet to see that $75 but the person that 'took' our change is no longer employed there. Best General Tso chicken I've had anywhere across the US.
Just heard that this place is closing! We moved from NE back in 2001, but I swear I've never had a better Shrimp with Mixed Vegetables plate after we moved away. I currently live in New York City, where the ever-famous Chinatown exists, and nothing compares to that dish I had as a kid at China Road. May you have success in your future endeavors and know that your food and restaurant will go down in our family history as one of the best places we've communed. Thanks for everything!
Sadly this restaurant closed in December 2016 They were the best!!
The best Chinese food in the metro! So sad that it's closing. But happy retirement to the owners. It's definitely earned!
