When I first spoke to Chilson they gave you that family run small company feel. After I spoke to them I explained the issues my tenants were experiencing. They convinced me into replacing the main incoming panel. The technician that was in charge of the project scheduled multiple times and didn’t show, my tenants took off work each time, pretty rude. On a moments notice (and I do mean on a moments notice!), Mr. Chilson came to my home and completed necessary work for my new well and to re-wire my garage. He is not only competent in his work, but he is cleaner and neater than other electricians I have previously engaged...and he is a pleasant and personable man. I've been with them for about 3 years. They've done pretty good on some electrical installations. I had LED light fixtures installed in my kitchen and a ceiling fan in one of the bedrooms. They have been doing maintenance work on our furnace/heatpump almost as long. The first year went pretty smooth. Last year I had to remind them to come out to service our furnace. Very responsive. Called on Monday they were here on Tuesday (while it was snowing). The technician, Dave was very thorough and took his time to explain everything including options to consider for two separate projects. It's important that contractors/electricians, etc. take their time with a customer and educate them if needed and that's just what they did.
