Rae is a phenomenal OT. She has made life changing differences for my son. We have seen amazing progress since meeting her. We see Rae every 4 months because we live in Florida. Despite the distance she has worked with me with his progress and even consults with my local OT therapist to help guide his sessions. I honestly cannot say enough good things about Rae. The only thing that would make the clinic better if it was close enough for me to take my son to her weekly.
Rae is a rock star!! My son works so hard during therapy sessions with her and has fun doing it. She's full of life and positive energy and gives 150 percent to every session. Her expertise and insight are invaluable, and I feel so fortunate to have her on our "team." I know my son is in good hands with her.
We will never forget the day we first we met Rae Suba. She was a speaker for SPED*Net Wilton and presented on How to Improve Sensory Processing to Improve Learning and Behavior. The date was March 1st 2012…is that right Rae? During her presentation, I secretly passed a note to my husband saying that we NEED to see her! After a few telephone conversations, we were eager to start sessions with our 3yr old twin son who has sensory integration disorder. Rae was able to pick up and see things within seconds that were not aligned ... read more
I am so glad that my path crossed Rae's. She has an extremely innovative and creative approach to occupational therapy. She helped my preemie daughter overcome so many issues. My daughter would not be the same kid, student, person without her. I can't say enough good things about her. She has a wonderful manner with her patients. I highly recommend her for OT.
There is no one better at OT than Rae. Simply put, she changed our lives. I know that sounds overly dramatic but it is the simple truth. My child's sensory system was so out of whack - hypo-sensitive at times, hyper-sensitive at others. Vestibular, proprioceptive, auditory, visual. I thought some of her strategies were nuts - but they all worked. From body brushing and joint compression to therapeutic listening to spinning on a spin board and core exercises. You would never know the kid who walked into her clinic 10 years ag... read more
Before my son was even diagnosed with ASD and SPD, my mom gut felt like my 14 mo old son was living in his own little world that could be accessed by me, I just didn't know how. I observed him and how he was VERY scared of certain noises, loved to roll around, would head bang when it got too noisy or someone with high energy would enter the room, could be calmed by tight hugs and softly singing to him. We proceeded with all sorts of therapy addressing his needs, and every n...Continue Reading
