It is a travesty that the facility located at 3023 Hamaker Court, Fairfax, VA is a Children's National location! One week post-op from cardiothoracic surgery and the patient's regular cardiologist was unavailable, so there was no other choice but to schedule with another Children's National outpatient center. This was the only location with an available appointment. I had a deeply upsetting experience at Inova Children’s Hospital in February 2025 when my 2-year-old was hospitalized for vomiting. While the ICU nurses were compassionate and attentive, our experience in the ER and general care unit was traumatizing. I encountered dismissive and condescending behavior from a white male doctor and nurse, which felt racially biased.
