I have had a hip and a knee replacement here, 2 years and 7 weeks ago respectively. I have to say the later experience was better. Everyone who entered my room wanted to know what he or she could do for me - even the cleaning staff! They helped me, blessed me, prayed for me and were always right there when I needed them! 7th floor - Florida Orthopedic has a well trained team. I am healed and fine.
Probably one of the best hospitals I have seen in my lifetime. With many things for a patient to feel right at home. Staff are profesional and courteous, check on patients but not overbearing or disruptive. Modern media allows patient to have a better understanding of what is happening in their treatment. As a family member I found no matter where I was or walked to, staff members oils assist me with directions, suggestions or getting answers to my questions. My husband had hernia surgery and had some of his colon taken out... all the nurses on 8th floor C825 were so Great. Thank You so Much !!! Excellent Care, Concern and Kindness !!! Great Job TAMPA GENERAL HOSPITAL !!! DR. DONALD DAVIS IS MY HERO !!!
I had surgery with TGH back in April, and except for the ignorant pre-op nurses, I had a nice experience. My mom, on the other hand, had the same surgery at TGH last Monday and not only was her experience in the hospital horrible, with rude know-it-all nurses and the physician staff not knowing their collective ass from a hole in the ground, but how they man-handled and mangled her apparently on the operation table, she's still in agony in recuperation. Quickest hospital visit ever! Had a CT scan and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
The best hospital in the tampa area i wanna say on all florida but is on tampa the ppl so nice the attending providers so sweet respectful and so sweet every 10 or 15 minutes cheking if everything its okay!!!! Its so much good thing to say about this hospital!!! But the best hospital the best������ ever���
At the cancer infusion center with mom ..... the staff here is always phenomenal!!! They are so genuine,loving, caring and the best group of people.
