For 100 years, the mission of Children's HealthSM has been to make life better for children. Our beginnings in 1913 were humble, but our vision even then was big. Today, our team takes great pride in being the eighth-largest pediatric health care provider in the country, and the only academically affiliated pediatric hospital in the area. Children's Medical Center Dallas is home to the only academic healthcare system in North Texas that is dedicated exclusively to the comprehensive care of children from birth to age 18.

Everybody there were awesome , they took great care of my baby and me too. They are Angels!!!!!!! I can't thank them enough.

9 Years ago my son was diagnosed with an ependymoma, a stage 3 tumor on his brain stem. We were in surgery in a day and the prognosis wasn’t the best. After the surgery, we were told it may be a while before he can talk, and a longer period before he could walk. Plus many other symptoms or results from handling the brain so much. We talked coming out of the OR, and was able to walk in 2days. The doctors and nurses were, and are the best. Children's is our home away from home! Everyone is like family to us. Two years of chemo and we are in the 3rd year now for follow ups. So glad we chose Children's!
