Today, our team takes great pride in being the eighth-largest pediatric health care provider in the country, and the only academically affiliated pediatric hospital in the area. Children's Medical Center Dallas is home to the only academic healthcare system in North Texas that is dedicated exclusively to the comprehensive care of children from birth to age 18.

My 3 y.o daughter shut our bedroom door and accidentally caught my other 1 y.o daughter's finger in the door hinge. It cut the tip of her pinky off and pulled off her whole nail. As this was our first emergency my husband and I were panicking pretty bad. Love this hospital!!! They are life savers!! My son is here now as I write this due to complications from oral surgery from yesterday... He has a heart condition that they are monitoring closely due to his heart rate bein so high!!

We have seen multiple specialists at Children's. We have been admitted to both the downtown and Legacy campuses. We have had procedures and x-rays at both campuses. We have had only great experiences(with the exemption of a 5 hour wait in the Legacy ER last December before being admitted to the floor).
My granddaughter had a plastic surgery there and from the nurses to the doctors to everyone there that is employed there all the way to the valet person.Azlyn was treated like a little princess,as Our entire family was treated so good while we were there with her.....She had so many fears especially coming out of surgery and they were so quick to calm her and reassure all was fine.. Where do I begin? I found out while pregnant that my son would be born with half a heart, and our pediatric cardiologist, Dr. Adrian Dyer, was so patient and empathetic and informative when we first found out and guided us through the whole process. Children's coordinated with the hospital I delivered at to take him and monitor him until he had surgery for his heart, and I was able to stay in the same room with my newborn the whole time-our hospital stay, which lasted about 25 days, felt like a second home. After visiting a emergency room the night before I came here. I was displeased with the treatment of my 5 month old baby. I was there a total of 20 minutes and we were released. How can you truly find a probable cause that fast. I went to Children's and they checked my baby out thoroughly, they were so compassionate to her and our needs. So from here on out Children's will be the only hospital I go for needs regarding my daughter.
