For 100 years, the mission of Children's HealthSM has been to make life better for children. Our beginnings in 1913 were humble, but our vision even then was big. Today, our team takes great pride in being the eighth-largest pediatric health care provider in the country, and the only academically affiliated pediatric hospital in the area. Children's Medical Center Dallas is home to the only academic healthcare system in North Texas that is dedicated exclusively to the comprehensive care of children from birth to age 18.

Spent 6.5 hours there waiting for my son to be seen while the doctors took their time doing nothing....just sitting at the desk conversating with coworkers.... sat in the waiting room for 3 hours..... got called back for XRays then put in a room for 2 hours waiting for the doctor to come tell us about the xrays and check my son's leg... then waited 1.5 hrs to be discharged.... I had to stick my head out the door 3 times to ask what the hold up was.....
I love Dr. Desai and all of his staff in solid organ transplant !! They are so friendly and helpful. And a special thank you to Daniel at the front desk (solid organ transplant) for all the stickers you gave the girls yesterday. It really made their day !!

I was their 8 hours with my 15 month old she had fail from the stairs she stayed crossided my doctor told me to go to children's, I didn't really wanted to go... I was their with my daughter alone I didn't really triped cus their was a lot of people but it was crazy I stay till 5 am n I had to leave do to my husband had to leave to work n I have 4 more daughters at home no food no restroom brakes no charger and me carrying my daughter the holl time I was exasted and I still got valet parking I left before the doctor came in ... read more
The staff has been awesome. The doctors have explained everything in a way that made us feel good about the surgery my grandson with as having. The nurses treated us with respect and kindness and were helpful. Best hospital experience I've ever had
Carly Weimer was the 2nd surgery that was completed since FDA approved this method only 6 months ago! Her team was absolutely amazing especially with her case being alot more difficult than expected (it's Carly......Dah!) in lieu of a full open heart technique they were able to install a melody valve and 2 stents. Recovery time (in hospital stay as well as at home recovery) cut down by WEEKS, radiation time (for patient and doctors) cut down 50%, an financial responsibility for insurance, doctors and patients cut down! I'm grateful that they fixed my sons heart i know open heart surgery is scary but i feel a huge weight lifted of my chest....i highly recomend them....the staff is really nice n helpful
I'm grateful that the doctors and nurses did a great job as well and the social worker and Chapman who were able to help us through this tough time... They have done an amazing job so far...
