I’ve been here many times and all experiences were fine but recently my daughter had a stay here and I can’t say enough about how awesome the doctors, nurses and entire staff were. I am very happy with the care we received
We were transferred from Erie to the Pittsburgh Children’s Hospital, and from the moment we arrived, we were met with compassion, professionalism, and exceptional care. Friendly staff. Parking is easy and simple. Nurses and docs are great and treated my son multiple times. They have nice bathrooms and showers in the rooms if you choose to stay overnight. Great food. My only issue was the wait times. It’s like a 1-3 hour wait almost every time you go. It gets crowded. Expect an all day or all night stay if you go.
Besure to know your rights as a parent, maybe even have a laywer on standby if your able, know you do not have to speak with CPS, and know this facility works closely with CPS, even sometimes wrongfully. As they did to us.
