Good experience, staff was friendly and very helpful to our needs.
Our family friends have twins that are not quite 2 years old. Recently the little boy, went in to the ER in Troy lethargic, and dehydrated. The medical staff had an ambulance waiting, in case he needed to be taken to Detroit. He was so well taken care of! He was sitting up, eating pop cycles before long. We were all so grateful for the fantastic care!!
I cannot say enough amazing things about the ER staff and surgical team who took care of my son during his emergency appendectomy. After being told at another hospital that he did not have appendicitis, we were still uneasy because we knew something wasn’t right. From the moment we arrived here, the ER staff truly listened. Parking can be difficult. The ramp is very old (small spaces) and there is always construction going on. The hospital itself is wonderful. The majority of the doctors and nurses are very capable and caring. We have been involved with the hospital since 2019. They saved my daughter's sight. The Ronald McDonald house makes long stays more bearable. Lots of food options just across the courtyard. They are wonderful with making the kids apart of their care. My son was really sick and we had to spend a few days here everyone was so sweet always showing concern checking on my baby every 30 mins to an hour I will always choose children’s for all of my children .
