I visited Children’s Health Imaging Center for an ultrasound for my infant and was very disappointed with the experience. We waited over 45 minutes despite there being no one else in the waiting area. The front desk staff never provided updates on the delay—I had to go up and ask for a follow-up myself. I was charged $700+ for an MRI over a month ago and this place hasn’t even bothered to file a claim! I have called MANY times and have been given lie after lie. No one helps you or files claims. Children’s should be ashamed of this service being represented by their brand. Never again!!!
Everyone I encountered was not friendly. Parents are already on edge when getting imaging for their children, a friendly face and even a nice personality goes a long way. The front was confusing and left you going window to window to try to figure out how to check in. Just overall not a great experience today.
Worst place to go for imaging.. exorbitantly pricy.. they take your money upfront.. first patient of the day, but have to wait 45mins past our appointment time! The front desk "dont care" attitude is at the 7th level
My son had imaging in February and the imaging itself was fine, but I was made to pay the full fee at the time of service. Once I got my EOB from my insurance I realized my portion should have been significantly less. I never heard anything from Children's and once I eventually called I was told they outsource billing to Akumin and I needed to contact them.
