I have been here with my son for the past 36hrs. The whole staff we have encountered since being here have been informal and amazing. We still have at least another 24hr to go and I'm sure they will make the whole experience as comfortable as they can like they have been thus far. Thank all of you
The pharmacy at this hospital is the worst pharmacy I've ever been to. My doctors have to call in my child's medicine multiple times for them to be filled. I've personally called in prescriptions and come in to get them and am told nothing has been called in. They don't notify you when your script is ready to be picked up. Every time I come here it is an inconvenient hassle. You'd think with all the updates done to this hospital they would do something to improve communication. My daughter had some post-op complications after her T&A. The staff at Dayton Children’s South emergency departmental were phenomenal with her. Especially Kim E, who is a nurse in the ER. My daughter was not even Kim’s patient but Kim stepped up when the call light went on and went “the extra mile” to handle a tough situation. Thank you so much Kim E and all the ER staff!
My daughter was admitted for a few days for cellulitis in her left cheek area. She enjoyed her stay since she was treated wonderfully by the staff. I couldn’t have had a better experience, everyone was very professional and extremely nice and caring.
Its a great place to bring sick children for the most part.
I have always taken my Three son's to dayton childrens when they were little.. The whole staff has always been wonderful to us. I've always loved the way that they would talk and treat my children. So much that I now work for the company and I get to give back the same love and compassion to my little kiddo patients as my children have received....
This hospital is so amazing! I have 4 kids who have all had to taken care of here at some point and we have never been let down! Yesterday my daughter had surgery and we stayed the night and they went above and beyond to make sure we were all comfortable! Thank you to all the workers who made this experience so good!
