Such a great place to take your children. They are always so helpful and kind to our to boys. The Doctors & Nurses are wonderful with kids. The only complaint ( which isnt their fault) I have is our sons tablet was taken in a waiting room last week. You never think it would happen to you, it was left a few seats from us and then was just gone. They have been very helpful trying to keep an eye out for it. Difficult Billing. No complaints with the care or service in the hospital, in fact it was excellent. That said, we also had excellent care in Cinci (both at Liberty and downtown Cinci). Actually, the only major difference was in the billing department, Cinci and Liberty are fantastic, Dayton is terrible. For us it is worth the little bit extra drive. Dayton Children’s is an amazing place! We have had several hospitalizations over the past 7 years and they have become our second family. Dayton Children’s goes above and beyond to care for the families they meet!! We are incredibly thankful to have such an amazing Hospital so close to home!
My 2 year old son had surgery at the new surgery center at the South Campus 2 days ago. We were more than pleased!! His surgery was minor, but to me it was very scary and a huge deal. The staff, doctors, and nurses took such good care of us and my little one! I was so relieved when I saw him awake, smiling, and eating a popsicle! thank you Children's Hospital, Dr. Meagher, Dr. Gooden, and all the other nurses, doctors and staff at the South Campus for giving us such good care!!
My son has fallen in 0 percentile for weight since he was 7 months. And for months we have been trying to get blood drawn and was unsuccessful. I begged to get a referral to Dayton Children’s and I am so happy that I did. The entire experience was amazing, everyone was so kind and professional.
You won’t find more invested health care professionals. Everyone truly cared about our son, it was greatly appreciated in our time of need.
