History Established in 1993. Children's Eye Physicians opened their doors in 1993 offering Colorado the services of two Pediatric Ophthalmologists; Dr. Robert King and Dr. Diana DeSantis. I can't say enough great things about Dr Bardorf. I had adult stribismus due to Thyroid Eye Disease and he corrected it. Because he helped me, I literally got my life back. I can see again and do all the things I used to do before getting this miserable disease. If you're in need of his services for either an adult or child, rest assured you'll be in very capable and skilled hands.

Thank you for coming to Grand Junction! The need for a pediatric optomologist impacts all of us and as a mom I cannot thank you enough for what you guys do. Even though I haven't been with your practice long, I have a thriving 4 year old who is excited for life and will be ready for kindergarten when his time comes. It is thank to the optomologist community for his success and for sticking with moms like me.

Wonderful office and staff setup to care for kids. At my son's appointment today he was having a little trouble staying focused during some of the testing (he's 4). So the assistant put a sticker on her nose and we all laughed. It worked great too and my son had no issues focusing on her nose for the rest of that specific test. We will be spending a lot of time there addressing my son's eye condition so it's great to know we've found a place we trust. And a place we enjoy going to!
Absolutely love this practice. After not having any success with multiple surgeries for my son's very complicated eye problems here where I live, I chose to make the 4-5 hour drive (one way) and it was worth every bit of the time, money and hours lost at work. I will continue do make the drives over to this office did my son's continued care. Everyone that I have met there is great, super friendly and wonderful.
