History Established in 1993. Children's Eye Physicians opened their doors in 1993 offering Colorado the services of two Pediatric Ophthalmologists; Dr. Robert King and Dr. Diana DeSantis. RecommendedIm happy for the great service whit my son god
I took my daughter to the ophthalmologist here by recommendation of our pediatrician. We had the eye exam and the dr had us schedule a follow up in 2 months to make sure her new prescription was good. So of course the charged us the one eye exam for insurance. When we went back for the follow up they charged me another eye exam. I paid $184 for them to check and make sure her prescription was correct. 3 of my kids have had their eyes checked here, 1 has glasses, another had eye surgery for extropia done by Dr. Bardorf and the whole process went smoothly and her eyes have healed up completely straight and now she's getting glasses for astigmatism. The staff is always friendly and helpful(reception, techs and the eye center), wait times are normally not too bad. I've never had a bad experience here.
We love this place! We have been taking our daughter there since she was about 9 months old!

1st time there and definitely going back! My son had to be seen asap due to vision issues that he was having and different things were done to check that his vision was fine. Staff was friendly and I really liked the way testing was done!

Dr. Bardorf was instrumental in successfully correcting my strabismus and allowing me full depth perception again. The little things have meant so much, including hand-eye coordination again.
We've had multiple visits here at CEP and think they are amazing! My son had a very successful eye surgery done by Dr Bardorf. I am so thankful! The folks at the optical shop are great. They are very experienced at helping find a great pair of glasses and wonderful at making sure they fit well on my kids. The wait time for appointments has never been long for us & they have kids movies to help them stay entertained.

After a very rocky start with Dr. Cohen - whom I do not recommend for youger children - I have been in touch with the CEO and they are making huge strides to make up for the terrible first experiance we had. With the exception of that one doctor, everyone else has been great with my 3 year old. The optical tech helped us pick out a great pair of glasses for my very busy little boy and we will be seeing one of the other doctors there from now on.
