Dr Collo is Great !! Dr Collo is great !!! (A) Two of the nurses are great, but hurried (B+/A-), one is not so great, borderline evil - at least on the phone. In person, she seems to be a tad better (C-). I have considered changing doctors offices because of the administrative staff leaves much to be desired over there, but my kids are used to Dr. Collo, and I trust her care - at this point I am not going to make a change. .......The next time I get put on hold for 45 minutes, tho', I might change my mind........
Dr. Whang has been my son's pediatrician since his first immunizations. He's been enchanted with her ever since, and so have we. She is so gentle, friendly and spends the time with you to really address all your concerns. She is always happy to seeus and we feel the same way everytime we take our son for a check up. She is a fabulous pediatrician and I would highly recommend her to any new parents or parents looking for a new Dr. for their child. Very inconsiderate I used to drive 20 miles to see Dr. Yim, but I am no longer going there. Dr. Yim is fine, but they have an office policy--which they don't tell you about up front--that, if you're 15 minutes late, the doctor will not see you! I mean, what kind of a pediatric practice is this? With babies and little kids, you are bound to run late sometimes. And with the busy schedules that many of us have as working parents, it's difficult to reschedule and have to miss another day/half day of work!
Dr. Jackson I would not recommend Dr. Jackson. Aside from his odd and unfriendly bedside manner, he was completely unwilling to dialogue with me about the care of my son. He refused to see us as patients because we are following a vaccine schedule that is different from that prescribed by the AAP. We are not refusing vaccines, only adjusting the schedule after much research and deliberation. Dr. Jackson spoke AT me, not with me, the few times we were seen at his office. Dr Collo excellent; would be perfect if she had her head nurse fired. Dr. Collo is very nice and she is willing to explain in detail.
Dr. Stephanie Whang Both my daughters have seen Dr. Whang for years now. I have two girls - 6 years and 2 years. Dr. Whang is not only very professional, she is smart, caring, and careful with her examinations. She spends the time to answer our questions and connects well with the girls. She never rushes us to get to her next appointment. She even goes the extra mile to call us at home to check if everything is ok. Dr. Whang was very good and Dr. Collo is pretty good too! I loved Dr. Stephanie Whang, she was knowledgeable and very patient with my children. She seemed genuinely interested in their well-being. She had a great conversation with my son who is now 17 yrs old about athletics and career choices. I was very sorry to see her leave. However, my other children continue to see Dr. Collo and she has been nothing but genuine. Her visits are a little shorter but I think that is because the office is more overwhelmed. Dr Collo at Children's Med Clinic is Fabulous. Staff? Not So Much. We've had our daughter with Dr Collo since before she was born and we interviewed a half a dozen pediatricians before we chose her. Dr Collo is fantastic with our girl. She's reliable, knowledgeable, gentle and kind. And for us, being our first and only child, the Dr is incredibly patient and takes as much time as we need to answer (probably silly) questions. DR. WHANG HAS LEFT CHILDRENS CLINIC I LOVEd dr. whang! I knew I had picked the right pediatrician when Dr. Whang called me after I had put a late night call into the office. Not only did she have the appointment book with her and made an appointment for the next morning RIGHT THEN but she also CALLED first thing the next morning to see how the rest of the night had gone.....
