Dr Collo at Children's Med Clinic is Fabulous. Staff? Not So Much. We've had our daughter with Dr Collo since before she was born and we interviewed a half a dozen pediatricians before we chose her. Dr Collo is fantastic with our girl. She's reliable, knowledgeable, gentle and kind. And for us, being our first and only child, the Dr is incredibly patient and takes as much time as we need to answer (probably silly) questions. Great care, nice staff My daughter has seen Dr. Stephanie Whang since she was born (she is 2.5 yrs. old now). Dr. Whang is a great doctor, she takes the time to explain things and addressed all my new mom baby concerns. We usually get the appointment times we want, the office is well organized so we never have to wait long.
DR. WHANG HAS LEFT CHILDRENS CLINIC I LOVEd dr. whang! I knew I had picked the right pediatrician when Dr. Whang called me after I had put a late night call into the office. Not only did she have the appointment book with her and made an appointment for the next morning RIGHT THEN but she also CALLED first thing the next morning to see how the rest of the night had gone..... however, she has left the practice, so has the founding dr. so they are left with two doctors. Hard to get appointment, but excellent health care.
Dr. Whang has been my son's pediatrician since his first immunizations. He's been enchanted with her ever since, and so have we. She is so gentle, friendly and spends the time with you to really address all your concerns. She is always happy to seeus and we feel the same way everytime we take our son for a check up. She is a fabulous pediatrician and I would highly recommend her to any new parents or parents looking for a new Dr. for their child. Dr Collo excellent; would be perfect if she had her head nurse fired. Dr. Collo is very nice and she is willing to explain in detail. But her head nurse is the worst I have ever seen. She is impolite, has zero patience, especailly when over the phone. Making an appointment is a headache for me. I have no idea why Dr. Collo keeps hiring her. Maybe this is a necessary trade off to have my kids seen by Dr. Collo.
Dr. Whang was very good and Dr. Collo is pretty good too! I loved Dr. Stephanie Whang, she was knowledgeable and very patient with my children. She seemed genuinely interested in their well-being. She had a great conversation with my son who is now 17 yrs old about athletics and career choices. I was very sorry to see her leave. However, my other children continue to see Dr. Collo and she has been nothing but genuine. Her visits are a little shorter but I think that is because the office is more overwhelmed. Dr. Collo at Children's Clinic The facility is nice and we rarely have to wait very long to be seen, <10 minutes. We like Dr. Collo but her head nurse has at times treated us nastily, and we always have a little bit of dread going in there because of that. I have to praise Dr. Collo for spending as much time as we need to talk during each visit, and not hurrying us out, and for keeping on schedule. She is patient and seems to be open to our "unique" attitudes about healthcare.
