I am writing this from my own personal experience and from a dual perspective as a former youth in the system and a current professional. In my opinion based on my experience, this agency fails to reflect basic human dignity in its practices. Great community resource.
Children’s First does so much for the community. Assisting families, bike drives for kids, clothing for homeless youth and more. Very thankful for their contribution to our community.
Robin is amazing! She has guided us through this process of coming on board as a resource family making it a smooth and comfortable experience. She is friendly, down to earth and really makes herself available to you whenever you have questions.
I have quietly contemplated on the idea of becoming a foster (resource) parent for years but uncertainties prevented me from moving forward. Fears like "Is a single parent enough?
