I was at the Mishawaka Chicory Cafe a couple times. It's the perfect spot to rest after walking the River Walk. They offer outside seating too

I usually love Chicory, but tonight was disappointing. On a night when there was an event at the Morris, they were using the oven to make cookies at 5:30 pm so flatbreads were going to be an inordinately long wait, and although breakfast is said to be served all day, we were told they “weren’t doing biscuits and gravy right now.” Paired with the fact that my soup was wrong and there wasn’t even an “sorry about that”, the experience left a bad taste. Paid $6 for a "bowl" of Chicken tortilla soup to go and got a tiny cup of a soup that' couldnt beat the small can of Aldis most generic soup.
RecommendedGreat food drink music and trivia in a comfortable atmosphere.
