Very knowledgeable when it comes to gluten free. Change of gloves and utensils as well as a dedicated toaster!
My grandchildren and I really enjoyed are lunch here. We recited the pledge of allegiance and received free beignets. Yum
Delicious and reasonably priced cajun/creole cuisine. Solid coffee choices, including genuine chicory and creative espresso drinks. Nice selection of micro-brews and wines. A variety of talented musical acts, both local and touring, several days a week. Pleasant atmosphere and fun, friendly staff. Great place for studying or hanging with friends. What's not to love?
I adore the beignets! I also love the atmosphere of this place. DTSB is lucky to have this spot. The staff and service is great too.
The Chicory is my favorite downtown eatery! They have the friendliest staff in ALL of South Bend!
We love Chicory Café especially all the gluten free choices with your excellent sandwiches. It's one of our favorite places to take friends for a quick meal and definitely our favorite coffee shop. Our 7 yr. old grandson loves it too and always looks forward to stopping in when he visits.
