Comfortable and friendly scene. I always get a little nervous going to new places with my 5 month old baby, but the staff was really nice and the other customers didn’t seem to mind at all- and the baby seemed to be entertained by the lively decor lol! Vanilla peppermint latte was delicious with my beignets. Will be back again next time I’m in town (I live around the Detroit metro area, but South Bend is close to my hometown)

I was very disappointed this week when I walked through the rain to see what the Chicory Cafe is like. I thought I could go there and order a cup of Chicory, maybe they would have different flavors to choose from. I also hoped I could buy some to take home. Imagine my disappointment when I found out they only serve and sell coffee. The food is over priced as well. I will not go back.
I absolutely love the Chicory! I try to go at least once a week. My friends and I love to sit and work - they're artists and I make dolls. The atmosphere is so inviting, the coffee is fantastic and the staff are always welcoming!
I absolutely love this place! It's my favorite hang out in Michiana! Whether you want to read, write, have some great food, hang with friends, or watch a band play on Friday nights. The Chicory cafe is the place to go! The atmosphere is very welcoming, and the staff is extremely friendly!
