Our waitress told us the kids meals were free. The kids menu said "kids eat free M-F 2-9 pm" so we ordered 3 kids meals. She never said we had to order anything specific. My husband ordered the chicken and eggs and I ordered a stack of pancakes and a biscuit and gravy. Then we were charged for all 3 kids meals. So my husband reminded her that the meals were supposed to be free. Loved the grilled chicken sandwich. Very sweet waitress. I will return.
1st disappointing experience at The Chicken N The Egg tonight. The poor server was by herself with 2 cooks in the kitchen. Busy restaurant, nobody else here to run food, clear tables or cash out customers. Not sure what kind of management scheduled one server on a Friday night but they need to adjust their planning. I will be surprised if any of these customers return. I want to say again the server is busting her butt to keep everyone happy, but she is one person. Step it up Management or your restaurant will not make it.
