Outstanding restaurant - great food, excellent service, friendly people - what more can you ask for! We’ve been there several times over the years even though we live in Port Charlotte. I had to meet with an employee at the News Sun so my husband came with me - he loves their French Onion Soup - could well be a meal by itself. He also had the Prime Roast Beef sandwich - he said it was excellent and brought half of it home. Being from Chicago and being use to so many wonderful restaurants it is hard to find a good food around here, I can count on you every time for a wonderful meal and thank you for making my 40th anniversary memorable.
Great service. Dinner was very good too. Grouper was excellent as well as the clam chowder. Steak was very good and the French onion soup was outstanding. My only concern was the upcharge for asparagus instead of green beans, and the $5 upcharge for substituting the wine reduction for herb butter on the steak. CRAZY!!!
The food was awesome love the compliment try breakfast and the service was great and very friendly.
