Interesting Views of the City The Cultural Center while not large, does provide some interesting exhibits of local interest. Showing a variety of media (photos, paintings, etc.), the center also has dance and theater programs as well. The LunchBreak Series, a series of free lunchtime concerts is great for a bit of culture in the afternoon.

Free! The Cultural Museum is closed until they move into their new building but we visited them right before they closed and had a good time. Admission is free and the main attraction, for us anyway, was the Bozo the clown memorabilia. They have the costumes of Bozo & Cookie along with the original buckets from the Grand Prize game. A great place for tourists! This place is big, beautiful and such a nice place to spend a day. You will enjoy their special rooms that give homage to local tv and radio, you can watch a play, hear a concert or just enjoy a leisurly lunch in their on-site restaurant. They are in the best location in the city (Michigan and Randolph), which is conveniently located to every bus and train you can imagine! Their staff consists of some of the nicest people around, who all seem to love what they do!

Take in the culture This Chicago landmark has so much to offer. It's classic architecture takes you back to yesteryear. This once was the main branch of the Chicago Public Library. Beautiful marble and ornamants show off this building which features art exhibits, daily live music, studio theatre productions, a gift shop etc... There is much more that can be said, but you must stop here while in the city and see for yourself. Free addmission also.
