Good service, old time favorite, food is good or great, beer is cold. Fun times with the band.
The service was horrible our waitress spilled our drinks on me and handed them to us I was not paying full price for partial drinks. Not so much as an even I'm sorry. Then we waited forever for our bill I had to finally ask for it then she never came back to collect our bill glad I had cash on me I left it on the table and left!!
One of the BEST German restaurants in Chicago! Live entertainment. Great service. And always a fun, festive atmosphere. Great for large groups, too.
So I literally just walked in here and the hostess said she was unable to seat us because I was in improper attire, which was a Tshirt and jeans??? Huh? I'm not allowed to wear a t shirt here?! Seems a bit extreme. The hostess was VERY rude about it and made me feel very uncomfortable and embarrassed in front of a bunch of people. I walked right out very disappointed and she said a snarky comment very loudly to me as I exited. Awesome place with great German style food and drinks. The prices are reasonable. The owner (a German in his early 70th I would) say is an amazing guy who really loves what he is doing. Would definitely recommend this place!!!
