I had a very disappointing experience at Chic Nails. I went in with my toddler, which I understand can sometimes be challenging, but she was sitting calmly on my lap and not disturbing anyone—just moving a little like any child would. One of the staff members, who seemed to be the manager, asked if my daughter could go sit by herself so they could finish because “they had customers coming.” That comment made me feel extremely uncomfortable and honestly humiliated. LOVE this place. Everyone is so kind and really do their absolute best to ensure you are relaxing. I appreciate their last moment availability when my work schedule changes last minute and they never rush you. *Bonus: sometimes the owner brings her sweet little dog, who is the best greeter of the salon! I won't go anywhere else!
I originally came in specifically for an acrylic soak-off. When I sat at the table, I wasn’t greeted or spoken to at all—I was simply told to sit down, and the nail technician immediately started working. Instead of filing down the acrylic as part of a proper soak-off, she cut my nails extremely short and began forcefully prying the acrylic off my natural nails.
