Want to thank the whole team, even the front desk. While specifically pointing out nurses Heidie the vet & Allie from Neb City, who started in the labor process. They were the most polite, wholesome, & accommodating. We had such a fun time! Also, nurses Angie & Julie who helped us through the labor process towards the end. We felt so relaxed and cared for. I delivered in Feb 22' and was promised a peaceful experience like the birth center. I showed up 8cm dilated, nurse drilled me with intake questions, then decided she should take me to delivery room and call my midwife. Placed the awful monitor on my belly, which is not used at the center. Recovery room was HOT, I spent the entire time sweating hardly able to cuddle my newborn because of the heat. Very frustrated with how the maternity ward at St.E’s dealt with my scheduled induction. As this was my 2nd child I was well aware that things are unpredictable in L&D but to have my scheduled induction be moved repeatedly with little notice was very frustrating, and then to be told that someone who was originally scheduled to come in after I was was being given priority was extremely frustrating. It genuinely felt like they just didn’t care about the frustration and the mental gymnastics they were putting me through.
